Meet Coreena, the visionary force propelling Revive K9. Rooted in an upbringing on an Oregon ranch, Coreena’s early connection with animals forged an extraordinary path. Though her dream of becoming a veterinarian took an unexpected turn into the US Coast Guard, fate had a new direction in store.
A twist of destiny unfolded with an unforeseen injury, introducing Gibbet, the resilient black lab, hurricane survivor and Coast Guard Mascot, who became a beacon of joy during challenging times. This relationship reignited Coreena’s passion for animals, propelling her into the realm of service animal work and the discovery of her true calling in dog training.
Driven by passion, Coreena immersed herself in learning, evolving into a Professional Dog Trainer. The culmination of dedication and experiences with talented trainers birthed ReviveK9 Dog Training. Its inception, three months into the COVID-19 pandemic and six months after welcoming daughter Channing into the world, marked a transformative chapter.
ReviveK9 emerged as a haven for dog trainers to pursue their passion, offering support and a platform to change lives one dog at a time.
In the Tampa area, where she initially knew few, Coreena embraced networking, co-founding the Women’s Professional Group, a supportive community for women navigating diverse roles. As a Co-Founder and Board Member, she fosters connections among like-minded women.
